Palace Theatre tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a historic venue with character and charm? The Palace Theatre in Marion is just that and more. This place isn’t your average old theatre, it’s got a real vibe, thanks in part to its legendary pipe organ, which volunteers painstakingly restored back in 1996. It’s like stepping back in time but still feeling totally alive. The theatre’s a big deal locally, having snagged the 'Historic Theatre of the Year' award in 2007, thanks to its impressive restoration efforts. I mean, the acoustics? Absolutely top-notch, a touring symphony actually praised them back in 1965, which is kind of a big deal. Plus, if you’re into the details, the balcony offers a stunning view during shows, especially with the way the lights are set up, very Instagram-worthy if you’re into that. The community support is pretty cool too, they have a bulletin board where local events get the spotlight, making it a true hub for Marion. And getting there? Easy peasy. Bike lanes lead right up to the theatre, so you can pedal your way in without fuss. Whether you’re catching a Marion Orchestra concert, checking out the Shovel City Improv, or just looking for a cozy night out, the Palace has something for everyone. Their interactive seating chart makes picking your perfect spot a breeze, whether you want front-row thrills or a budget-friendly seat. Honestly, if you’re into discovering new shows or just want a night full of good vibes, this theatre’s waiting for you, trust me, it’s a Marion gem.
